Commercialized under the name “Consult-Act”, this practice aims to achieve concrete results that will make a difference and produce tangible impacts on the short and long-term performance. It will provide support to small, mid and large size businesses in their growth and governance, based on the best practices in the industry.
Founder of Consult-Act, Sylvain is back to a more active consulting practice with Consult-Act, a management consulting firm founded 5 years ago after more than 30 years of experience in human resources where he held several management positions in international organizations. He had suspended his activities for a few years when he joined the ranks of Optimum Talent, acquired by the Gallagher firm, as Vice-President and Practice Leader for the Assessment and Leadership Development team. Before becoming an executive consultant, he successively managed the HR function at EXFO, Kruger, Alcan - Bauxite and Alumina, Nortel Networks as well as for several divisions of General Electric such as GE Power Systems, GE Medical Systems and GE Aircraft Engines, both in Canada and abroad.
During his career, Sylvain has managed several major restructuring projects and has led numerous transformation initiatives in performance management and leadership development. His international perspective and proven experience as a business partner and change agent serve as a reference in human resources management. As part of his consulting activities, he has led several diagnostic processes and carried out various executive coaching and management support processes.
Sylvain Rouleau is a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec and holds a master’s degree in organizational psychology (O.D. and Complex Systems) from the Université de Sherbrooke in Canada. He has given several conferences on leading-edge organizations.
